Crash Investigation

This agency is mandated, to investigate crashes in the Town of Gramercy, and to enforce all State and Local traffic laws. If you are involved in a crash and you or the other parties wish to file a crash report, contact either the Saint James Parish E.O.C. at (225) 562-2200 or dial 911. If Gramercy Police Department investigates your crash, at the end of his investigation, he will issue a form with the other parties’ information. Copies of crash reports are available in person at the Gramercy Town Hall. If you want a copy of the report via mail, complete Section I of the form and mail it to the Town of Gramercy address below. A certified check, company check, or money order for $5.00 must accompany the request. Personal checks and cash will not be accepted.

Please allow ten (10) working days after the crash before submitting a request for a crash report.
